What is Mazévo?

Mazévo is our new reservations software system designed to enhance your reservation experience. In Mazevo, you can reserve space in and around the Tate Student Center, including:

  • Tate Student Center Meeting and Large Event Spaces
  • Tate Table Spaces
  • Tate Promotional Spaces
  • Lawns & Plazas, including Tate Plaza, Tate Lawns, Herty Field, Legion Field, New College Lawn, and many more around campus
  • The UGA Chapel for non-wedding events
  • Quarters A

Important Information

Requests for basic meetings or events need to be submitted at least 5 business days prior to the event. Requests for meetings or events requiring personnel (security, early building opening, etc.) should be submitted at least 12 business days prior to the event. Large scale events require more preparation with you and an event coordinator, so reservations for large event spaces needs to be submitted at least 15 days prior to the date of the event.

If you are not affiliated with the University of Georgia and do not have a MyID to submit a request for space, please email the Campus Reservations, Events & Technical Services office at reserve@uga.edu and an event coordinator will return your email.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Visit the Mazevo login page.
  2. Enter your “UGA MyID and Password” log-in credentials and click Log In.
  1. Once you log-in to Mazevo, click the “Add New Request” link and follow the prompts to specify the details of your request
  2. Once you have inputted all the details for your event, click “Submit” to send your “Request” to the Campus Reservations, Events & Technical Services.

  1. Following a review from an Event Coordinator, your event will be either confirmed or denied. You will receive an email from either decision within 5-12 business days.
  2. The email informing you of the status of your event will be sent to you following the confirmation or denial from an Event Coordinator from Campus Reservations, Events & Technical Services which will also include an estimate of cost, if charges apply.

Student Organizations
You will need to reach out to the current President of your organization and ask them to add your name to the groups roster in the Involvement Network. Once added, you will be able to see your organization after the next data transfer date (1st and 15th of each month).

Departments
This information is generated from Central HR.

This can happen for many reasons:

  • The room you are requesting is not available for the date and time frame you selected.
  • You are trying to book a space after the window you are allowed to book
  • All rooms have minimum and maximum occupancy. Attendance cannot exceed the maximum occupancy. If a room you are searching for does not appear, it is possible the capacity cannot accommodate your request.
  1. Log-in to your MyMazevo account and go to “My Events” and click on date(s) and select “Cancel.”

  1. Log-in to your MyMazevo account and go to “My Events” and click on date(s) and select which event you need to make changes to selected event.
  • All changes have to be approved by your event Coordinator in Campus Reservations, Events & Technical Services.
