Beach Volleyball

BEACH VOLLEYBALL COURTS

The beach volleyball courts will be closed from September 23rd to October 6th and October 14th to October 23rd

The beach volleyball courts are available for open recreation on a first-come, first-served basis when they are not reserved for a student organization, UGA department, or UGA-sponsored event. Groups planning special events are encouraged to reserve the courts in advance to ensure availability.

Court Rules

To help everyone enjoy the volleyball courts, please follow these guidelines:

  • Quiet hours are from 11:00pm – 8:00am.
  • Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.
  • Please leave glass containers at home to help keep the courts safe.
  • Pets are not permitted on the volleyball courts.
  • Please use the courts only during your reserved time and be mindful of others waiting to play.
  • Alcohol and illegal substances are prohibited on university property.
  • Please treat all court equipment and facilities with care. Damaging, altering, or misusing equipment is prohibited.
  • To maintain a welcoming environment for everyone, amplified music is not permitted.
  • Help us keep the courts clean by disposing of all trash in the designated receptacles before you leave.

  • Participation is at your own risk.
  • The University of Georgia is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.
  • Courts may be temporarily closed due to weather, maintenance, special events, or other university operational needs.
  • Reservations do not guarantee court access during facility closures or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Please conclude your activity and vacate reserved courts promptly at the end of your reservation to accommodate the next group.
  • Users are expected to leave the courts and surrounding areas in the same clean condition in which they were found.
  • Individuals or organizations may be responsible for costs associated with excessive cleaning, repairs, or damage to university facilities.
  • All users are expected to follow University of Georgia policies and the directions of Recreation and university staff.

Community Sponsors

  • Single: $25/hour
  • Double: $50/hour
  • All: $100/hour

*Reservations are limited to 2 hours per booking
