Can my organization collect donations online?

If you have an Agency Account or receive Student Activity Fee Allocations, your organization can collect donations online through the OneCard Ticket Office. We can set up a link where donors can make donations of any amount using their credit/debit card.

How do I set up a donation link?

Please fill out the Sales Request Form and send to tickets@uga.edu. Helpful Hint: Check “Other” and type Donation in the Sales Type area of the form.

How do I collect cash or check donations?

If you collect cash or check donations, a member of your organization needs to immediately deposit them into your organization’s account. Please go to the Dean of Students Business Office Window in Tate Student Center between 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM to make a deposit. Deposit information can be found here (Deposits).

Are donations taxed?

No, your organization does not have to pay sales tax for donations.
