Scholarship Description:

The Let All the Big Dawgs Eat Food Scholarship is a need-based scholarship that awards meal plans to several UGA students each fall and spring semester.

If a student is awarded this scholarship, they must maintain full-time student status, and must adhere to the University of Georgia Code of Conduct. At no time, may a meal plan customer use his/her UGA ID to allow another patron to gain access. This includes sharing your meal plan scholarship with other students or removing food from the dining hall facilities. Dining Services policies can be found here. If a student is found to be in violation of these policies, then the food scholarship committee has the right to revoke the scholarship at any time. 

Qualifications:

The Let All the Big Dawgs Eat Food Scholarship is open to all full-time Athens Campus students, both undergraduate and graduate. The hour requirements are as follows:

Fall and Spring Semester Scholarships:

Undergraduate Students - Must be enrolled full time (12+ credit hours)
Graduate Students - Must be enrolled full time (9+ credit hours)

  • To apply for this scholarship, you must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours.
  • Applications are due May 24, 2019 at 5pm EST
  • Notifications will be sent out by the end of June 2019
  • This is a YEAR LONG scholarship award that will fund a meal plan for both the Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 semesters.

Summer Semester Scholarships:

Undergraduate Students - Must be enrolled full time (6+ credit hours)
Graduate Students - Must be enrolled full time (9+ credit hours)
