Holiday Hours:

Campus Reservations, Events & Technical Services will be following the University’s holiday schedule, and will be closed on November 23-November 26.  Further, the online reservation system will also be closed and not available for submissions from 5pm Wednesday, November 22, through 4pm on Sunday, November 26.  If you have an event for which you need space, we encourage you to submit your request as soon as possible to ensure we secure a space prior to the Thanksgiving break.

As a reminder, and in accordance with the University’s Central Scheduling Policy, Campus Reservations, Events & Technical Services will begin accepting classroom (non-academic) requests for Spring 2018, beginning on December 4 for departments, and December 11 for student organizations. 

As always, we appreciate the opportunity to serve the University community. Our staff will return to the office at 8am on Monday, November 27.  We thank you again for your patronage and hope you enjoy the holiday break.


Campus Reservations, Events & Technical Services (“CRETS”) is part of the University’s larger Centralized Scheduling Team. We assist in the planning, promotion, and production of over 30,000 reservations a year across campus. “Start with a Yes” is our motto. We offer the highest level of customer service with the utmost kindness and respect to each and every one of our customers.

Our office uses two different scheduling programs: EMS for reserving meeting rooms, event spaces, lawn spaces, promotional spaces, and tabling spaces in or around that Tate Student Center, Memorial Hall, Scott Hall, or campus-wide outdoor event spaces; and Ad ASTRA for non-academic events in classrooms across campus. In addition, for affiliates of the University, our knowledgeable Reservations Team may be able to assist you in reserving spaces across campus in one of UGA’s academic classrooms.

This website is designed to assist you in finding the area of campus that you would like to reserve, depending on the nature of your event, your affiliation with the University, and your needs.

Our skilled Event Staff provides event planning services in some of our larger event spaces in and around the Tate Student Center to assist you in creating a memorable event for your attendees. Both teams are thoroughly familiar with our spaces and will offer suggestions to maximize the space and your budget.

The Technical Services Team maintains all of the audiovisual and technical equipment in the Tate Student Center, Memorial Hall, and Scott Hall. They also offer professional sound and lighting support of major events in and around the university campus.
