You must be enrolled at UGA during Fall Semester when you apply.
You must be enrolled at UGA during the Semester of Competition. You must have a 2.3 GPA or higher at the time of application and competition. You must attend the Miss Georgia Forum Weekend meeting during Spring Semester. You must compete in the Miss Georgia Competition in June. You must be at least 18 years of age as of July 31, 2019 (birth year no earlier than 1994).
You must not be older than 25 years of age on December 31, 2019.
You must be a female.
You must not now and have never been married, nor have had a marriage annulled.
You are not now pregnant, nor intend to become pregnant during your year of service.
You are not a parent or the adoptive parent of any child, nor will you become one during your year of service.
You are of good character and have not been involved at any time in any act of moral turpitude or behavior.
You have not been charged with multiple minor offenses in the last 24 months.
You have never been convicted of any criminal offense and there are no criminal charges/offenses pending against you.
You have never, knowingly or unknowingly, performed any act or engaged in any activity or employment that could characterize as dishonest, immoral, lewd or indecent.
You are in good health and can, to the best of your knowledge, participate fully in any and all Miss UGA programs and activities.
You do not use or consume any illegal or controlled substances other than those obtained pursuant to a valid prescription and taken according to the directions of a licensed health care professional.
You do not abuse the use of alcohol, prescriptive drugs or other dangerous substances.
Your immediate family members who serve in any capacity on a state or local MAO board must resign 6 months prior to the Miss UGA Scholarship Competition.
You must sign the official Miss America Local Candidate contract prior to competing.
You must sign the Miss UGA Scholarship Competition contract addendum prior to competing.
Note: Any young lady between 13 and 17 (including high-school graduates) as well as 18-year-old non-graduates as of July 31 must compete at the Miss America Outstanding Teen level.
