Legion PoolThank you visiting the Legion Pool website.  Legion Pool has been open for 78 years and serves the UGA community. This includes UGA employees and Friends of Campus Life members.

Hours of operation: 

  • 5/22/14 - 7/31/14: 11:30 am - 7 pm
  • 8/1/14 - 8/14/14: 3 pm - 7 pm

Extended Hours:

  • On June 13th and July 19th, we will be open until 8pm

Location:

Legion pool is located on Lumpkin Street across from the Tate Student Center. It is operated as a service for UGA students, UGA employees, and Friend of Campus Life, and their guest by the department of the office of the Dean of Students for the Division of Student Affairs.

Parking

    The daily rate for parking is $5.00 per day. Customers may purchase a season parking pass for $20.00.

Pool Rules:

Legion Pool

  • Obey lifeguard instructions
  • Clean and appropriate swimming attire is required.
  • Children under the ages of 16 must be accompanied by an adult
  • The following are prohibited: glass contains, chewing gum, tobacco products, alcoholic beverages, pets, running rough playing an excessive noise, spitting or spouting water, amplified sound.
  • No diving is allowed- you must enter the water facing forward and feet first.
  • Plastic inflatable flotation devices (rafts, floats, water wings, rings, etc. made from plastic) are not allowed. Life jacket, noodles and other foam materials are safer alternatives.
Children under the age of 16 should avoid entering lap lane area unless they are swimming laps.
